Gain skills to investigate science, learn the methods of research, and communicate scientific concepts! Being a scientifically literate community member means having the skills to understand the methodology behind scientific research and apply it to your everyday life. Understanding how science is communicated to the public and how to communicate effectively are invaluable skills.
