Community Organizations

The Northwest Natural Resources Institute was formed in August, 1992 by a group of companies and individuals whose livelihoods depended on agriculture, forest products, mining and water resources. NNRI is a 501c3 non-profit organization and an affiliate of Greater Spokane Incorporated (formerly the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce).

The NNRI is working hard with its partners to reconnect society to the source of its everyday products – natural resources. Natural Resources Institute educates teachers, students and parents about the importance of natural resources in their daily lives.
